Resurgam

I had a blog before, under a different name, which collapsed all too rapidly in a welter of misanthropic bitterness and scorn (I'm afraid I don't like people much and the contempt will insist on coming through).

So I am unsure as to whether this is wise. But blogging seems to be the only writing I can bring myself to do at present. Therefore it is Good For Me, even if it proves dull for you. So I will blog, at least for the time being.

What about? Well, I can't say. We will have to let a theme develop. But certain things that I am reasonably confident about touching on are:

Stalin
Travelling abroad
walking in the UK
Dog sledding
Gentleman's apparel
The general beastliness of 21st Century life.
